16 Day First Time Solo Itinerary in August (Tokyo/Hakone/Fujinomiya/Kyoto/Osaka/Tokyo & others)

I will be travelling to Japan for the first time from the 9th to the 25th of August. I know the weather will be hot and humid and there will also be a lot of crowds, but it's pretty much a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me, both financially, in terms of time and socially. I want to get to know the Japanese culture, nature and also the modern sights.

Day 16 (Tokyo)

Do you think I have overlooked anything or are there any other problems? I know some days seem packed, but I'd rather have too much on my list than be aimless and have to organise something on the spot. I am also travelling alone and from my experience of other trips it should be doable for me.

Does anyone have more information about the Miyagino Kiga Onsen Summer Festival in Hakone? I couldn't really find much about it and I'm not sure what it is exactly and if it's worth attending since I'm in the neighbourhood anyway.

As for luggage: I've already included it in my plan, but basically I'll be sending it straight from Tokyo to Kyoto and then living out of my backpack in the days in between. If I then send it from Kyoto to Osaka, will it arrive the same day if I drop it off in the morning? And finally, how would you organise the last few days? A. I send it directly from Osaka to Narita airport, buy another suitcase in Tokyo for the goods I bought and take it to the airport. Will my original suitcase arrive in time or is it too risky? B. Send the luggage to Tokyo and then send both suitcases from there to Narita. Will they arrive on time? C. Same as B, but I'll take both suitcases on the train to Narita.

Thank you for your help and comments in advance!
