Hello – I would love any recommendations for premium onsens/ryokans near Tokyo, e.g. Hakone or Fujiyoshida, that you would recommend for 2 nights at the end of a 10-day trip, before heading back to Haneda airport and home. Ideally we'd arrange transfers directly to Haneda in the morning so we can go directly to the airport from there and make our 1pm flight.
I've looked at Yama-no-Chaya, Gora Kadan and Ubuya, but I'm not entirely sold on any just yet, and they all look beautiful but I'm not sure with so much choice. We usually love staying in design hotels and are looking for something special! Trip is in mid-April if that helps.
