My girlfriend and I will be in Kyoto in early September and I plan to propose there since it’s her favorite place. I have been doing research on places I can propose and one place came to mind. It’s the Daigo-ji temple, but more specifically, by the Bentendo temple near the bridge. However, since this is a temple, is it considered rude to propose? I want to be sure to not disrespect any one by proposing here so I want to be sure that it is considered acceptable to propose here. Please help. Thank you!
