Hello, I’m having a hard time when checking out at supermarkets, because staff still tend to pack veggies and eggs or tofu in light plastic bags, the ones without handles. Now, I understand 袋 is the paid shopping bag, but sometimes I even add that I don’t need the vinyl bag (ヴィニールブクロ) but either they don’t understand, or they insist on using some. Once, an employee was even agressive because I didn’t pack individual potatoes in this vinyl bag, and it supposedly would make the shopping cart dirty.
Do you guys know what exactly to tell the staff so they understand one doesn’t need any plastic or vinyl bag?
