手話 resources?

I hope this post even technically belongs in this subreddit… but I think it is the best place to ask nevertheless.

I got curious about learning 手話 basics after watching ゆびさきと恋々.
Do you have recommendations for resources?
(Japanese or English)

I did not formally start to study yet, but from looking at videos about basic expressions I struggle especially with identifying the beginning and of a gesture.
