    Any time you runs the numbers over long distance the answer will always be rail.

    If you want truck drivers you increase salaries or bring in immigrants

  2. An innovative solution would be to improve truckers’ working conditions

  3. Wow ! After reinventing the train, what will be the next step ? Reinventing the wheel ?

  4. I fail to see how this would be better, or more efficient, than a railway.

    Improve signalling technology, improve container-handling ability at terminals and it will be much better and far, far less expensive than this conveyor belt idea.

    This is nearly as bad as Musk’s hyperloop suggestion.
