Where do I buy technology, like a cellphone?

Hi! I’m wondering if there is a technology store-chain or something where I’d be able to buy a Japanese feature-phone (Aka Garakei). What’s more, I’d like to be able to download games for that phone using services like EZ-Appli, S!Appli, or i!Appli.
Would anyone here happen to know where I would go to purchase a feature-phone that can play games from the mid-late 2000s, and which services I’d need to be able to purchase those games? Or if such services still exist? Or if all else fails, where I’d be able to go to get this sort of information?

Much appreciated!

  1. I’ve used PayPay Fleamarket to purchase lots of electronic stuff, it’s essentially a flea market, most items are free shipping.

Just mind that while I am sure many sellers are offering good working phones, many are offered as “junk” meaning it’s been powered up and verified to do basic things, but no thorough inspection, so something may not work. Also make sure it comes with a charger, and mind which carrier it’s from.

As for the rest of your question I’ll leave that to someone who knows as far as cellular service etc.

  2. I’m very certain that imode, ezweb and all those services have ended, along with most games associated with them.

People who still use garakei use them for mainly texting and mail, not web browsing and game.

  3. Kyoex would be a good place to start if your looking for collectables

Send them an email via their contact page and see what they say

Although i-mode and other features may not be available although i-mode in particular is shutting down in 2026
