Hi, as the title, i want to know how to verfiy another sole propriotership in Japan, bcuz Im planning to do business with them. Are there any websites from the Government to do that?
Since they are individuals (larger) companies often want to go through a middle man consisting of an established company that they **can** check (and sue if necessary) this does of course mean that the middle man adds on ~25% again and sometimes wants to charge a manager on their side too… but I digress.
If you have any doubts you’ll want to have them sign a contract which details what you want them to do, how much you will pay them and all the rules and checks to cover all the ways they could cheat you.

no. sole proprietor can be normal individuals. name, address and phone is all you usually need.
of you want registered invoices for tax purposes, you only need their T number. you can check it online https://www.invoice-kohyo.nta.go.jp
