I usually got the Vesu brand canned beans (they also have chickpeas and a few other things) from Gyomu. About a couple of months ago they suddenly stopped carrying them and I wasn't able to find them at another nearby Gyomu – has anyone else been able to find them anywhere recently? (I know there are more expensive options at import shops but these were less than 200 yen a can, making them a reasonable price and convenient because I don't have to soak dry beans in water every time I want to, say, make a burrito).
If anyone knows of any other options for buying cheap canned beans (regular or black beans too) I'm all ears. Thanks!
