I'm hoping to convert my UK driving licence to a Japanese one and I've found most of the information about the process.
The only issue I have is with the living in your home country 3 months after issue rule.
I've passed my driving test over 10 years ago and unfortunately my old license expired.
I've had it renewed but now the date of issue is showing as very new. Less than 3 months.
I still have my old license card, is there any way of me showing them that and the fact I've had to renew it but I did in fact pass my driving test a long time ago back in the UK?
Or am I out of luck because I got a new card before I had a chance to convert?
