Hello everyone! I'm thinking of visiting Japan with my girlfriend next year – around 17 to 28 of May.
The thing is, since this is a major vacation for us and it is something unknown, I would like you to take a look and give tips/suggestions if possible. At the moment, what's bothering us the most is transportation, but we will get there.
Here's my full itinerary.
We arrive at Narita and wish to go to Osaka.
19 – Osaka Park > Gram Pancakes > Explore the Park| Castle (optional) > Tenmangu Shrine > Shitennoji Temple > Shinsekai > Abeno Harukas
20 – Namba Yasaka Shrine > Nipponbashi Denden Town > Dontobori > Secrete Tunnel to Hozenji Yokocho > Retro Bar Spacestation (opcional) > Teamlab Botanical Garden (optional)
21 – Universal Studios Japan
22 – Departure from Osaka to Kyoto
Already in Kyoto – Kiyomizy-Dera > Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka > Kyoto Tatami Starbucks (opcional) > Yasaka Shrine > Maruyama Park > Explore Gion
23 – Arashiyama Bamboo Forest > Sagano Romantic Train > Kinkakuji Temple
24 – Fushimi Inari Taisha > Nishiki Market > Higashi Hongan-ji Temple > Kyoto Station
25 – Departure from Kyoto to Tokyo
Already in Tokyo – Art Aquarium Museum >Tokyo Tower > Ninja Restaurant (optional) > Akihabara > Asakusa> Sensoji Temple > Ninja Coffee (Optional)
26 – TeamLab Planets > Shibuya Crossing + Shibuya Sky Observatory > Starbucks Shibuya (Optional) > Nitendo Offical Store > Miyashita Park > Harajuku
27 – 1 Day Trip to Mt Fuji, Oshino Hakkai and Lake Kawaguchi
28 – Return home – We would need to go from Tokyo to Narita
My major questions here are :
Do you think this is a good itinerary? Should I change anything and in what order?
What are the best and budget friendly ways of transportation from :
Narita to Osaka
Osaka to Kyoto
Kyoto to Tokyo
Tokyo to Narita
What are the best ways of transportation inside each city?
Thank you in advance 🙂
