$6k USD income monthly from non-taxable pensions. Both my spouse and I would probably get a part time job to bring in about $2k more per month.
Is it possible to find a nice rental that’s big enough for us for around $1.5k/¥200,000 or less? Preferably near a military base but not a necessity (it would help me obtain a part time job if necessary). I know the rent for locals and military stationed in the area was different when I was active duty so I am not sure what the price would be.
Spouse is Japanese to make the process a little easier.
