I guess I'm sharing this to process but it also felt so unreal. Yesterday on the train Yokohama line to be precise I sat next to a guy, and he was taking photos of women on the train. I was sitting right next to him and he definitely shared them in a group text of some sort, it was unnerving. Some girls got on the train and sat opposite us and he took photos of them too. I tried to signal discreetly to the girls but I think they thought I was crazy. When we got off the train to make a transfer I told the girls but I don't know if they understood my English.
If it was me he took a photo of I could have made a fuss, I think. I did report to the train attendants when I got to my home station, but I don't know what else I could have done. I can't believe he was so shameless about it he wasn't even hiding his screen 🙁 I was so confused. What is the best thing to do in these situations?
