Anyone mind saying what they paid to move house in Japan?

I'm moving soon and I'm wondering what people's actual experiences are with moving in Japan.

I've read some of the threads here but rarely does anyone actually say what they paid or what a reasonable price is for a big move. I'm moving from a 3LDK to a 5LDK, and have about a family of three's worth of stuff in my current house. Sakai came and quoted me (on paper) ~450,000 yen for a full service move. Though they said (and he refused to put it on paper) they could go as low as ~290,000 yen (which is still too high, compared to some of the things I've seen online). I said I would unpack everything myself and he said it wouldn't make a difference to the price (which seems like a giant lie considering the website lists a "standard plan" which includes them doing everything except unpacking). I don't have any appliances to hook up except two refrigerators. They don't have to do anything with ACs. They don't even have to reassemble my metal shelves; I will do that myself because I want to rearrange things in the new house.

For those of you with a similar move (3LDK, 3-4 family members -ish) what did you pay, if you don't mind saying? What should I be asking for (ie: how did you haggle the price down? any particular phrases, or anything you offered to do yourselves?)

Thank you so much for any help and advice!
