  1. Good, there’s some stupid ass mfs who climb that mountain. It’s not Everest but it’s still a mountain with significant altitude and dynamic weather conditions.

    Wildly unprepared people (and no you don’t need to spend on arcteryx gear) walking around without water, layers, or even decent walking shoes

    I remember towards the top there was a tour group and 5-6 of them had one space blanket between them. Doubtful they brought it and instead someone gave it to them. Looked like they came off the damn titanic.

    At one point towards the top and mind you off trail some parts were still a little icy this dude who sounded frustrated by the congestion left the trail without a headlamp and disappeared into the damn dark abyss. His wife went after him and their two elementary aged kids in tow. Good thing there were guides or tour group guides who immediately went after him because his stupid ass could have gotten them injured.

    The biggest thing is I hope they emphasize altitude sickness. That shit can really ruin a good day of hiking 🙁
