I am considering moving to Japan after I get my Clinical Psychology certification. My question is: I want to continue practicing psychological therapy when I move there, but specifically for other foreigners living in the country. Are there different guidelines for doing such? All I can find is information on practicing therapy with Japanese clients. I know I would likely require malpractice insurance, but I couldn’t find guidelines for practicing therapy with foreigners that are residents.
