Opening a NISA account for the first time

Hello everyone, it's finally time for me to get a NISA account, but before I apply I want to confirm a few things. Would appreciate if someone could point out if I got something wrong.

  1. I am an EU citizen with PR, so there shouldn't be any limitations/issues, right?

  2. Setting up a NISA account with a broker means setting up a regular "bank account" (=総合口座?) and an additional "NISA account", correct?

  3. The brokers also allow to add the funds into NISA via Credit Cards, does the card have to be from the broker or would any card work?

  4. I see lots of benfits (points, etc.) for each broker, which one is the best complete package as of now out of SBI/Rakuten/Monex/Kabu? I saw in some of the SBI pages that a lot of their points-via-credit campaigns end in October so I am not sure which one would be preferable now. Language wouldn't matter, I am fine with all-Japanese.

  5. If I want to mainly go for the eMaxis Slim All Country, would it matter if I add it into Tsumitate or Growth? After reading a lot it seems the general approach would be to max out Tsumitate and then add to Growth after that if the product is available in both.

Would appreciate any input, thanks!
