went to this super cool japanese restaurant in nyc

name: okatte tanto

they serve the bluefin rib in both medium ($28) and large ($32). we got the large and it was super fun scraping the meat off. there’s four “sides” and they flip the rib over for you. it’s served with a soy sauce. it’s limited selection so i’d recommend going early at like 5/6.

we also got the king salmon sashimi (which was sliced a bit too thinly for my liking) and the grilled duck which i inhaled half of before remembering to take a photo.

super fun experience and id be happy to go back!
