In the past year I’ve gotten on two different trains where someone had a ticket for the same seat I was suppose to sit in.
This time I had a chance to look at their ticket and it seemed like the black ink was ever so slightly lower resolution.
Does this happen from time to time, or do people make fake tickets?

I’m sure someone will ask. I asked the staff where my seat was after I interacted with the person in my seat. The staff member look at her ticket for only a second, and directed me to an empty seat. He didn’t seem perplexed at all.
