Greetings everyone!
I’ll be flying off to Kansai Airport next week and this will be my very first time to go to Japan! For this trip, I’ll be traveling solo. Here’s what my one week itinerary looks like (subject to change based on feedback):
Day 1 (11th July, Thursday):
-Arrive in Kansai Airport at 9am
-Take the the train and check-in my hotel around the Shin-Imamiya area
-Roaming around and having lunch
-Visiting Osaka Castle
-Umeda Sky-Building
-Shinsaibashi shopping street
-Dotonbori
Day 2 (12th July, Friday):
-Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
-Having lunch around the area near Tempozan Ferris Wheel
-Maishima Seaside Park (optional)
-Free slot for the rest of the day
Day 3 (13th July, Saturday)
-Kuromon Market in the morning
-Den-Den town
-Cafe hopping/any cute cat cafes around the area (do give some suggestions)
-Any Pokemon Centres/Nintendo shops/any gaming merchandise stores
-Shinsekai
Day 4 (14th July, Sunday)
-Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park
-Free slot for rest of the day
Day 5 (15th July, Monday)
– Heading to Kyoto by train early in the morning (still contemplating should this be a day trip or an overnight stay)
-Sannenzaka to Kiyomizu Dera
-Lunch
-Fushimi Inari Taisha Sembon Torii
-Togetsukyo Bridge
-Head back to Osaka/Overnight stay
Day 6 (16th July, Tuesday)
-Wake early for a day trip to Amanohashidate
-Then head back to Osaka by late afternoon
Day 7 (17th July, Wednesday)
-Early morning visit to Universal Studios Japan (already booked the tickets online)
-Final last minute shopping/cafe hopping by late afternoon
-Dotonburi one last time
Day 8 (18th July, Thursday)
– Fly back home via Kansai Airport
