Can anyone recommend an English language book to Kyoto's temples and shrines, one that covers as many locations, both in Kyoto City and in the rest of the prefecture, as possible? The travel guide books all cover the same, major places. I'd like to have something more encyclopedic. It would be great, for example, if the information posted on the signboards outside virtually every temple/shrine were collected in one place. TIA!
