Fukuyama jet/ alt placement

Hi there, I just found out my placement in Fukuyama (Hiroshima placement) and I’m kinda anxious as there’s little to none online info. So, I wanted to find out anyone’s experience there. I’d really appreciate anyone’s feedback

1. School life (what was your typical schedule like?)
2. Teaching life (were you given resources or teaching materials by the schools?)
3. Support (what kind of support did you receive from your BOE and schools)
4. Challenges (any challenges that you had to overcome?)
5. Accommodation (was housing paid for or subsidized or something that you had to organize alone?)
6. Transportation (how did you commute to work? Is it an easy route or not so much)
7. Language (How much Japanese did you need to know to get by in daily life and at work?)
8. Community/ social life (Are there any social groups or activities you recommend joining?)
9. Final questions (Is there anything you wish you had known before starting your position in Fukuyama? Do you have any final advice for making the most of this experience?)
