Does anyone know how the therapist system works in japan ?

(TW: Mental health)

Firstly, it's not for me but my ex/not ex gf, she is a Japanese national, born in japan, we had been together since 2 years until yesterday.

She is mentally unstable and needs medical care, I tried to intiate a request through the police last year by making a sort of wellness check (like you can do it the US) Before that I had tried to call the nearest hospital about it, but they told me they couldn't do anything about it and that I should call the police.

Fast forward yesterday, she had one of her worse mental breakdown and called the police on me for allegedly assault her (none of this was true, I'm not going to prison).

So now, I'm technically not with her anymore since I can't legally call her or go to her place, but she can call me or see me (yes stupid as that, police said I had to ignore her if that was the case), if I do contact her again, I will be arrested and framed a stalker.

She told me herself she has alot of mental issues, crippling loniless, she doesn't have a mom, doesn't see her dad often, and only has 1 friend to talk to, and it's not the first time she wants to call the police on me either after having mental breakdowns.

All I wish is being able to send her to a therapist or something, because the police didn't seem to understand when I told them she has mental issues, and she can't just keep hurting herself.

I genuinely like that girl, she is usually sweet and kind and fun to talk to, unless she is having a mental breakdown, physcotic episode where she becomes very very mean and physical.

So yeah, if any of you guys have some sort of solution, that would mean a lot.
