I’m in the process of switching from a student to work visa. I currently have permission to work up to 28 hours per week on the student visa.
While the work visa is being processed, am I able to work part time?
I tried searching Reddit but couldn’t find a very clear answer.

Yes u r. Your current status is valid until the new residence card is in your hand.
From my understanding once you graduate you are not allowed to work part time anymore. But once you submit your application for a work visa at immigration, you are allowed to work up to 28 hours at your future employers workplace while your visa is being processed.
