family medicine clinic for English speaking patient

Hi

I'm a physician currently practicing in Canada. I'm interested in the process of acquiring Japanese medical license and will likely be doing a residency training there pretty soon once I pass their medical licensing exam. I completed residency training in Canada a decade ago and got board certified but to practice medicine in Japan, I am required to do at least 2 years of training there. Anyhow, I am wondering whether there's demand for English speaking family physician in Okinawa because that's where I will most likely end up at after the training. I guess most of the Americans will go to VA hospitals/clinics but are there much need for English speaking a family medicine/urgent care doctor from non military foreigners? If you are not a military personnel in Okinawa, how easy is it for you to see a doctor for non emergent but bothersome health issue?
