Japan and public toilets ( man )

hi. i saw [this](https://japan-forward.com/the-transparent-toilet-tokyos-latest-public-innovation/) today and i’m wondering if it’s ok to show off your buddy in Japan, since i saw in some public park a lot of toilets have their door missing and you can see what it’s happening inside ( a lot of ojiisan with their buddy in the hand ) and this look’s me really weird…

  2. When you lock the door, it makes the glass become cloudy. So no one can see your business. If you’re talking about broken bathrooms, they exist everywhere. That’s a global problem, not just Japan.

  3. I’d wonder why you are so fixated on ojiisan with their “buddy” in their hands and cataloging all the toilets with broken doors in your area but…

    I think the answer to that question is self evident. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

  4. Isn’t it just the old guys probably didn’t bother locking the door while they took a tinkle? If you lock the door the glass turns opaque
