Driving as a foreigner

I’m staying fairly far up north and wondering how difficult it is to drive for someone from the US who is neither familiar with the language (stop signs and lights will be easy) nor has had much experience with driving on the opposite side of the car or road. I have driven on the left side of the road in Turks, but not on the opposite side of the car as what I’m used to. Afraid we won’t be able to beach hop without a car, but still concerned about driving.
*I do have an international drivers license, so that’s not an issue.
