I was wondering where it’s possible to get vaccines in Kyoto. I need to get the Japanese Encephalitis but I’m not sure if I need to go to hospital or a clinic and where. I live up in the more northern area of Kyoto city.
Are you East northern or West northern? My advice is to ask them at the Kyoto University Hospital on Higashi Oji. The one you want is a No Brainer, but also ask them about any of the normal necessary ones.
How old are you? If you’re over about 8 years old, they’ll say there’s no point.
You can ask any clinic near your place.
It’s not so uncommon to get vaccinated before overseas field trip, etc.
If you have a scheduled overseas travel, here you can call and make an appointment. They have Japanese encephalitis shot too.
