In terms of reviews. These days i am generally passing a card if i 100% get the reading but have become pretty loose on definitions sometimes i don't even know it at all, ideally would want a "general feeling" towards it but yeah this isn't always the case especially with new cards.
Few reasons for this
ultimately i know that i will actually learn these words properly through reading in context anyway not through anki that's not its purpose just takes time.
also at the point pretty regularly now where if i am reading something and i know all the words in a sentence really don't want to be thinking about English definitions anyway. Its that same "feeling" you rely on pretty much, when i see something like 応援 its not "support" or "aid" but "おうえん", idk im sure you know what i mean
But yeah interested what people think is this a bad idea? What do you guys consider a pass? Be especially interested from those of you have reached a similar point.
