So, I'm playing through the English version of Persona with Japanese audio. Ryuji says something that sounds like:
「お？これって｡｡｡俺がさすったおかげじゃね？あれだホラたなから｡｡｡おかもち｡｡｡」
Morgana scolds him by saying:
「ぼたもちだろう！おかもちって、でまいかよ？！」
(Apologies for a surplus of kana, I didn't want to use kanji for words where I wasn't 100% sure what they were, I just wrote down what I heard)
I looked up 岡持, it looks like it means "wooden box." However, I don't know if I misheard ぼたもち or not. Looking it up tells me that it's a bean of sorts. Is this synonomous with good luck?
For clarity, the English subtitles interprets this conversation as Ryuji misusing "a stroke of good luck," by saying "a strike of good luck," and Morgana commenting on its absurdity.
