The news that NJPW signed Shane Haste to an actual deal is the first time in awhile we've heard of NJPW actually locking up a gaijin talent. It's welcome news after seeing them lose so many.
It got me thinking – with AEW overloaded and WWE focusing more on signing and molding college athletes, the indies and internationals will probably have more talent hanging around
So if you're Gedo and Bushiroad hands you some cash to start plucking some fresh faces, who are you bringing to NJPW and why? Who do you think would help the product?
Criteria
- Not currently signed to WWE or AEW
- Not currently rumored to be headed to WWE or AEW (Michael Oku, Joe Hendry, Jordynne Grace)
- If from TNA – try to focus on people who might actually leave TNA for the right offer, not people like Moose, Eddie Edwards, etc. who are lifers
- If from another Japanese promotion – same idea, focus on who might realistically switch companies
