10 Day Itinerary Japan – Request advice and feedback

Hello Everyone, it's my first time visiting Japan. I will be there from 13 Nov – 22 Nov. These are my current itinerary. Do share any feedback regarding transportation, itinerary optimization, sightseeing and food suggestions.

Day 1 – Reach Haneda airport at 10.30 PM, check-in to hotel before 11:59 PM. Get rest for tomorrow as we will take an early Shinkansen to Kanazawa

Day 2 – Take the Shinkansen to Kanazawa at 8.30 AM – reach Kanazawa 11:00 AM. Lunch and check-in hotel.
Sightseeing – Noon

• Kazuemachi Chaya District – can walk around at night too
• Higashi Chaya District
• Morihachi Main Store – Japanese Sweets
• Sakuda Machiya-Shop – Souvenir Shop
• Kinpakuya Sakuda Head Shop & Workshop – Gift Shop
• Try gold leaf ice cream
• Omicho Market
• Music Bar Minshia

Day 3 – Full day at kanazawa

Sightseeing – Noon

• Nagamachi District – check out the shops
• Nomura-ke Samurai Residence
• Kanazawa Castle
• Oyama Shrine
• Gyokuseninmaru Park

Sightseeing – Evening / Night

• Kenrouken Garden
• Yuwaku Onsen – bus ride 30 mins from Kenrouken

Day 4 – From Kanazawa > Heading to Shirakawago and Takayama

Will be taking 8.30 AM bus, reaching Shirakawago at 10AM – How Long Should I Spend at Shirakawago before going to Takayama.

Taking 2.45 PM bus to Takayama from Shirakawago. Reaching Takayama at 4PM. We will check-in hotel and have late lunch/early dinner.

Sightseeing – Evening / Night

• Sanmachi Suji (Stores are opened from 9 – 5 PM)
  • Ranka Coffee
• Hida Takayama Retro Museum
• Walk around the Miyagawa River
• Nakabashi Bridge
• Nakabashi Park

Day 5 – Full day at Takayama

• Yoshijima Traditional House
• Takayama Showa-kan Museum
• Takayama Matsuri Yatai Kaikan
• Sakurayama Hachiman Shrine
• Higashiyama Walking Course

Day 6 – From Takayama take bus & train to Nagoya

9 AM bus/train from Takayama, we will reach Nagoya at 12pm – Lunch & Check-in hotel.

Day 7 – From Nagoya to Tokyo

Take Shinkansen from Nagoya 8.30AM, reach Tokyo 10.05AM.

Day 9 – Tokyo & Hakone (Day Trip) should I do kawaguchiko instead of hakone?

8.30AM Romancecar to Hakone, reach at 10AM. How long should I stay at HAKONE.

Day 10 – Tokyo – Full day till 8PM as our flight is 11.45PM so we need to head to Haneda Airport 3 hours in advance
