This is a moving exhibition that has some of the things you could find at the Ghibli Park and Museum. Entrance fee is 1900 for adults. The 2900 ticket comes with a meal of a ramen or a neopolatain pasta dish (this food is likely 'not that great' so I'd honestly just avoid the expensive ticket)
Its near Shinagawa station so its relatively easy to get to.
So if you had 15 browsers open for the Ghibli Museum but didn't get tickets, this is a decent consolation prize. Looking at the ticketing website tickets for weekdays are pretty easy to get, even next day tickets are open. Weekends are basically a lost cause though so don't bother there. Ironically there was a combo ticket of the exhibition plus the museum, but that's apparently all sold out, no doubt people buying the exhibition ticket just to get into the museum.
The website and ticketing system are all in Japanese though so yeah good luck with that. Might be easier to just get tickets at a Lawsons once you hit Japan.
