In the near future I potentially have someone coming to visit me here in Japan. I've lived here nearly 3 years and it'll be the first time someone will visit so I'm really excited and want it to go well.
They don't speak Japanese, they aren't the best with flying/airports, and they are autistic. I will be with them all the time aside from when they fly back home.
They have low support needs, it's just that they get overwhelmed sometimes and don't always know how to deal with things, so I am a bit concerned to leave them when it's time for them to go home. They aren't used to being in airports, especially in foreign countries.
I have read on their website that they do offer a free-of-charge concierge to help escort people who need it but they only refer to people with physical disabilities or the elderly. My visitor isn't old and they are not physically disabled either.
My question is, can a person with autism access a free-of-charge concierge in Haneda airport?
