Being mixed, yet not looking the part

So I'm mixed, being caucasian, irish, native American and japanese. Hence my Japanese and irish heritage coming from my father's side, I never grew up with that culture. To say the least growing up I never thought about it too much being "mixed". Until as I grew older, wanting to connect with my heritage grew hard. My mother's side is native American and caucasian, so which you can assume that's where I grew up with most of my cultural background influence being. From what my mother claims, I appear to look Japanese in some features of my face. (Having slight almond eyes, a small flatter nose) and having a slight pale olive/Ellie undertone. Though I've always felt like an imposter admitting I was asian. Due to the feeling "never looking Asian enough" others always said to me I looked mainly white. So I felt like I was a clown when I admitted to being mixed. Time and time again, I've looked for some in the same situation, only ever finding people being half Asian instead. Or even though still appearing asian. So I guess now I ask for some advice.
