I was looking to make sushi on my own for the first time and watched some videos showing you could use the frozen farmed salmon from Costco to do this. I preferred this approach since it would be more convenient as it’s individually wrapped and also more likely to be fresh kept frozen
I ultimately decided against it and picked up a non frozen one instead since it was sourced from Norway. I’m nervous for it. I’m worried it’s gonna smell fishy but I’ll update y’all lol.
Anyone notice a difference in quality between the frozen chile version vs the non frozen Norway version? Especially as it pertains to sushi or sashimi.
