kamo shrine visit without a car?

Hello 🙂

I am interested in visiting the Kamo Shrine in Keihokunakaecho and wanted to ask if anyone had experience visiting without a car?

If I got to the bus to Keihokugodochoshazen bus stop and walked to the shrine would this possible and/or scenic at all? I only ask on here as info online is non-existent or solely car focused.
