Day trip to Lake Kawaguchiko during Public Holiday (23rd November)?

Hi Guys,

I am planning to go on day trip to lake kawaguchiko on 23rd November from Tokyo.

Im planning to do the following:

  • Rent a bike and cycle around lake kawaguchiko
  • Maple corridor (hopefully i can still see the foliage)
  • Oishi Park
  • Try Hoto

I am planning to skip the Pagoda or do the Mt Fuji Ropeway. I think the crowds and queue are not worth it…

Considering the things that I am planning to do, does anyone know if it will be super busy and crowded since it is a Saturday AND public holiday?

I can either go on a day trip on 23rd Nov or 30th Nov or 1 December. I prefer to go 23rd Nov hoping that I can still see the foliage. I think late november is too late to see the leaves….

Also, any other recommendations of what to do around the area?
