I'm need advice for a 2 week trip itinerary for Early April 2025. This will be my first international trip, I'll be going with my mother who is really into gardening so I'm looking forward to Cherry Blossom season with her. Some questions I have:
- Do you think I will need the JR Railway Pass if I am traveling from Tokyo -> Osaka -> Nagoya -> Tokyo?
- How prevalent are taxis in these cities? Should I expect to take the subway?
- Is there an app for planning out subway rides and are the subway signs in english?
- How much paper currency should I plan to bring?
- Can I reload my suica pass on my phone and is that all I should need to travel the subway?
- Do I need 2 suica passes for both me and my mother?
