Hi! I'm finishing up junior year in high school and am looking to go into Japanese-English interpreting as a career. I'd really like to specialize in concerts, where I'd interpret Japanese to English during idol concerts or something. I'm looking for actual jobs agencies put out just to get a feel for what I should aim for in college. I'm guessing most jobs would be in Japan, since there'd be more demand. Any idea where I'd start looking? Also, would it be possible to get a permanent job with an agency in this specialization, or would it most likely be freelance?
I understand accomplishing this won't be a walk in the park. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
