These seem like they would be a common enough question, yet all the information I can dig up is aimed at people travelling to Japan rather than the companies sponsoring them.
Two questions:
・Several international artists want to travel to Japan for an event, for which they’ll need to get a business visa from their embassy. They need to get a company to list as their “sponsor” for this. A company I’m involved with planning to sponsor them, but does this entail anything else than letting them list us the company as a guarantor, essentially?
。One of the artists takes anxiety medication that’s not legally prescribed in Japan. I’m sure many business travelers must encounter this, but is the procedure any more difficult than declaring the medication in advance?
