Nikko in late november

First of all thanks for reading.

I will be in tokyo from 25 november to 1 dec this year.

I am planning on going to Nikko as a Day trip, is it feasible to do World heritage pass and OkuNikko in one day?

We like mostly to have a slow/medium pace day trip, not do everything in a rush but enjoy it

I understand its already past folleage (I can't go earlier so it is what it is), will the traffic be bad? This also in regard of my previous question, if traffic is bad I would rather stick to world heritage

Any advice is obviously welcome! (BTW not planning on doing a night in Nikko, Hiking and waterfalls is not a must for me but would like to see if I can acommodate in a day trip)
