Got 4 days 3 nights free at the end of my trip this November and was thinking of catching the sumo in Fukuoka. Just wondering if it’ll be worth it since it’ll be 1 day sumo and like 1 1/2 day in Fukuoka so I can be back in Tokyo the night before flight.
Working out the best travel will be leaving sano tochigi on the 15th 2 options are
train to haneda or Narita then fly to Fukuoka which Will be about 3hrs train 2 hr flight and whatever time at airport with multiple transfers
But cheaper by about half
or
Train all the way sano to hakata station with only 2 transfers but taking 7hrs and about 26000yen but prob less stress
