Can you say something like 危ないけどよく行きます ？
We recently learned how to connect two opposing adjectives with けど and だけど、 but the teacher didn’t mention whether you can use those with verbs.
What is the difference between 結晶 and 水晶?
I’m playing a kid’s game, どうぶつの森
In the game, there are these items referred to as [あいのけっしょう (結晶)](https://game8.jp/atsumare-doubutsunomori/330224)
Then, there is a character with a crystal ball referred to as [水晶](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FDy3YFpaQAEBlvt.jpg)
In english they are both “crystals.” What’s the difference in japanese?
I hear the word “suman” in anime but in this particular anime, the translation is always “thanks.” Shouldn’t it be “sorry” since “suman” is short for “sumimasen”?
I am doing a fan translation of Japanese manga into my native language and I’ve met a whole sections of manga written in katakana (japanese phrases, no borrowed words). What could be the authors intend in doing so? Example here: https://i.imgur.com/z79ECpA.png
Can it be that the guy is speaking Japanese as a non-native speaker? Or some other reason?
I was waiting for this certain Japanese MV, supposedly to be released at 2021.12.15 but is released this day december 3, same goes with other japanese MV content ive encountered… is the japanese calendar different? or is there other formatting besides the year/month/date format? please enlighten me, thank you!
