First trip to Japan, would love nature-focused recommendations for a 14 day trip!

Time:

Either Mid/late-February, Late april to early may, or early April.

Now, my issue is that I have a lot of places I’m really interested in going to, but I’m not sure about whether they’re worth doing. I really care a lot more about seeing the natural beauty and history of japan, so I don’t care too much about going to disney, teamlabs, or anything like that. Here is my current rough thought process.

Day 1:
Arrive in Tokyo, check in to hotel

Day 2:
Tokyo
Asakusa in the morning
Shibuya/Shinjuku/Golden gai in evening

Day 3:
Day trip? i was thinking Nikko or Kamakura/Yokohama Chinatown for dinner but not sure

Day 4: Travel back to tokyo, grab food and maybe see some quick sights. Then travel to nagano OR kusatsu for the night

Day 5: Travel to Kanazawa, eat good food and walk around old town

Day 6: travel to Kyoto

Day 7: Full day in Kyoto, Arayashima, shrines, all the typical stuff

Day 8: Kyoto to Nara. Spend the day there at the park. Then travel to Osaka for the night.

Day 9: Full day in Osaka or day trip to Himeji not sure yet.

Day 10: Osaka to Hiroshima

Day 11: Full day in Hiroshima, go to the deer island (Forgot the name sorry!)

Day 12: Travel back to Tokyo, go to Ghibli museum

Day 13: Tokyo to lake Kawaguchiko. End trip with a stay at a Ryokan

Day 14: back to Tokyo to the airport

Obviously this rough itinerary needs work, but given my main interest being nature/history I was wondering if there’s any places I really should be visiting and if there’s stuff I can take off this list. Really appreciate the help <3
