I’m currently a university teacher in China, and I’m on contract for another year. It’s a fancy university, but I’ve been looking into places.
Here are my qualifications:
I’m a native English speaker, who can also speak Chinese and Spanish conversationally.
I have a masters’ degree in communication.
I have a TEFL certificate.
I have 4 years of English teaching experience at the university level, along with a few other subjects.
Is there a person to talk to or a place to go to throw some applications out there? Obviously I can’t head over to Japan immediately, but I’d be interested in getting over there when I’m able to.

[JREC-In](https://jrecin.jst.go.jp/seek/SeekTop) is the standard site for searching for university positions. Be aware that some or perhaps most of the positions are posted for legal reasons only and are already effectively filled.

You might be able to get a part-time university job with those qualifications, but you would probably need to be in Japan and have a valid visa.
