Career advice please

Hello everyone! I am an Indian student pursuing my master’s degree in Economics and Data Science at one of the top Russell group universities in the UK. I happen to be the only recipient of university’s merit scholarship for my cohort. I have an English proficiency of C1 but Japanese is at beginner level, however I have begun to practise on Duolingo. Despite a good academic record, I barely have any professional experience to showcase. I shall be graduating by the end of this year, and although I can apply for the PSW visa and stay in the UK, I really want to work as a Data Scientist in Japan as it has been my longest aspiration.
Can I get some advices on if I should try to gain experience in the UK first or come to Japan right after graduation? If the later, how can I do so?
Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you!
