Items bought tax free, when leaving Japan?

So… In a specialty store I bought a table tennis blade, two rubbers, some balls and some other table tennis accessories. The total was well over the 5.000 yen threshold , so I asked to have the items sold tax free… The salesman complied no problem… as he had to assemble the rubbers with the blade, he opened both, assembled, then proceeded to put the racket in the blades box, threw everything into a paper bag (the bags of the rubbers included), issued the invoice, copied my passport and that was it. The items weren’t packed into a sealed bag of any kind. Now I know I’m supposed to inform the clerk at baggage check in I’m taking the items out of the country, but… can I face any problem, since the items aren’t sealed? Didn’t really think of asking at the store… thx…
