Planning out a working holiday to japan next year. Would like some advice on what type of jobs I should look for.
Goal: Stay mostly around Tokyo, with focus on going to music events in the weekends, and finding jobs to fill out the weekdays. Plan on staying a full year if I find a good job, otherwise probably stay for 6 months. No plan at the moment to stay in Japan long term.
Funds: The general goal is to spend no more than ~1million yen + whatever I earn in Japan.
Work experience: 5 years as software developer (embedded C/C++)
Language skills: approaching conversational level of Japanese, also fluent in English and Chinese.
Im not sure if I should pursue a professional job as a software developer with a working holiday visa, or I should look for something more casual? E.g. service, factory work, translation etc
