I am currently B1.4 which should be somewhere around N3ish and I find myself in this zone, in which most listening resources are too easy, but advanced listening practices or even trying to listen to native media is still way too difficult for me.
I am doing evening school, and Anki a lot, but it seems like I’m progressing very very slowly over the years (5+ already)
The other day I had two Japanese women sitting next to me on the bus and I wanted to test my listening skills.
I got some of the most standard expression, but sadly not a lot more.
Especially these day to day phrases are just new to me, since I haven’t had the chance to go to Japan yet.
Do you have any listening recommendations for my level?
Preferably I would like something that progresses step by step from N3 up to N1 and beyond. If I could wish for anything more I would love to learn how actual Japanese people speak and not the typical book phrases or anime talk.
I tried Umi, japanesepod101, Nihongo Con Teppei for listening practices so far.
